El Sobrante Library to host Earth Day Cleanup

The recently renovated El Sobante Public Library will host the sign in and participant appreciation events for the April 23, 2022, El Sobrante-Richmond-94803 volunteer Earth Day Cleanup. Keep El Sobrante Beautiful, the ES Green Team and SPAWNERS are teaming up for a great event and everyone is welcome.

The ES Library is located at 4191 Appian Way, just north of San Pablo Dam Road.

Bring your friends and family. It’s fun and FREE! Meet up at 9:30 am or after to sign in and log out equipment. Free, reusable gloves will be provided that you can keep as our thank-you gift. Return equipment to the library before 3 pm.

A small volunteer appreciation gathering follows. Details TBA.

Mar 16, 2024 / 10 AM-noon: Third Saturday litter cleanup. Volunteers target trashy 94803 locations and fan out in teams. Meet at Library parking lot, 4191 Appian Wy, return equipment by noon. Or, pick your own spot and pickup at your own schedule.
Mar 16, 2024 / 9:30 AM-noon: Third Saturday watershed cleanup. Join SPAWNERS in weeding, pruning, planting and trash removal in San Pablo Creek watershed. Bring sturdy shoes and water for the morning. Tools, light snacks provided, meet at Wilkie Creek restoration site by 4805 Sta Rita Rd, Richmond.
Date TBA / 1-2PM: El Sobrante Heroes Adopt a Road volunteers, trained by CalTrans, clean up SP Dam Rd at I-80. Date TBA. Be a Hero, contact Ramon. Contact Mike Jevicky to adopt your own roadway.
